Massage & Cupping
Massage
Massage therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person’s health and well-being. Massage has many therapeutic benefits and has been shown to affect the flow and circulation of blood and lymph, reduce stress and muscular tension, calm the nervous system and enhance tissue healing and provide greater flexibility and range of motion.
Cupping
This is a method of stimulating Acupuncture points by applying glass cups that create a suction on the skin in which a partial vacuum is created. This technique produces blood congestion at the site, and thus stimulates blood flow. Cupping is commonly used for low backache, sprains, soft tissue injuries, common cold symptoms and to help relieve fluid from the lungs in bronchitis.
